  • They received help setting achievable individual goals.
  • Cost reduction ideas are evaluated and implemented prior to the deadline.
  • Amount of cost reduction:
  • 1% - 3% improvement over current profitability level.
  • Exceeds = 3% - 6% improvement or >$500,000 positive impact to company profit.
Maintain a log of cost estimation tools available, who created those tools, and when they were created and last maintained.
New product/system cost estimation information to sales and marketing (35%)

  • Business Planning management says that:
  • All required/necessary information is organized.
  • All cost estimation data is reasonably accurate and complete.
  • The summary fully and accurately communicates the important data, open issues and specific concerns.
