• While he/she is gone, his authority has been delegated and matters of concern are either sourced out by Secretary-, or addressed with him personally via phone/fax/E-mail.

• Exceeds = Manager has achieved more efficient use of time and information availability, and productivity between Manager and Secretary has increased as a result of attending a time-management seminar.

Accessible documents (electronic and paper) • All chron file items and legal documents (Dec. of Conf.) can be found within 24 hours (withstanding those documents lost through computer errors from previous secretaries).

• Documents being used currently are tracked through pending file or set of organized files to be kept on Manager’s desk.

• Computer issues involving changes in software and continual file management are addressed as they arise (noted by the secretary or those requesting help).

Completed special projects • Manager says that the projects I have spent time on have added value either to the Secretary’s department or to the company.

• Found a source to clean biohazardous lab coats on a regular basis for extremely minimal cost.

• Increased department morale through regularly acknowledging birthdays, milestones of employees and holidays.

• Developed a tracking system for training completed by individual staff members.
